Why did you join 'Fight on the Beaches'? As my beloved Dad, who died from oesophageal cancer in August 2010, lay in hospital during his last few days I vowed to one day do something positive to cure cancer. I am not a Doctor or a researcher, but I realised I could raise some money to help those that can find a cure.
What is your role? Co-Chairperson and Marketing Team Leader
If you could sit with anyone at the Ball, who would it be? My Dad of course, so we could enjoy a glass of red together, and my Nana who I also lost to cancer.
What prize are you most hoping to win? The French accommodation looks amazing, I would love to go there with my kids and enjoy the French culture, food (& wine country). I would also love to win a trampoline for my kids.
How can others join the fight? B UY A TICKET .... NOW! It is such a fun, uplifting night, and it is your chance to do your bit to 'fight back' against this insidious disease. Make a cash donation or a prize donation, or if you can't come as a guest you can volunteer!
Are you or someone you know interested in helping out on the night as a volunteer? We need fit people able to be on their feet from 5.30pm till midnight who are personable and wanting to 'fight back' against cancer. Should you, or someone you know want to volunteer on the night, please email email@example.com with your contact details and we will be in touch.
All volunteers receive a full briefing and a meal and drinks prior to the event.
If you are unable to attend the Ball, or know someone who would like to do their bit to fight back against cancer, you can make a tax deductible cash donation by making a direct deposit into the Fight on the Beaches bank account.
